Plastic surgery is defined as a surgical specialty dedicated to reconstruction of facial and body defects due to birth disorders, trauma, burns, and disease. Plastic surgery is intended to correct dysfunctional areas of the body and is, by definition, reconstructive in nature. While many plastic surgeons choose to complete additional training and perform cosmetic surgery as well, the basis of their surgical training remains reconstructive plastic surgery. In fact, in 1999, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons changed its name to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons to more strongly communicate the message that “plastic and reconstructive surgeons are one in the same.” Plastic Surgery can be mainly categorized into two such as reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. Reconstructive Surgery is where treatment or surgery is done to hand, craniofacial or the treatment to burns. Where As the cosmetic surgery is done to improve the appearance. These are techniques which are used all over the world.

The procedures, techniques, and principles of cosmetic surgery are entirely focused on enhancing a patient’s appearance. Improving aesthetic appeal, symmetry, and proportion are the key goals. An aesthetic surgery can be performed on all areas of the head, neck, and body. Plastic Surgery Conference also comprises of Cosmetic Surgery or Aesthetic Surgery as the main Plastic Surgery divisions include cosmetic or Aesthetic Surgery. In cosmetic Surgery they commonly use Lipoclastic or liposuction.

Most surgeons who are specialists in MaxillofacialOtorhinolaryngology and Plastic Surgeries use this Reconstructive Surgery  to reconstruct neck, head and face after cancer. Reconstructive Surgery is to reconstruct and restore the damaged part of the body and it is carried out to reshape and rebuild the body parts which are affected by traumas, injury, birth defects, tumors, infections, diseases and developmental disorders. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, over 1 million reconstructive surgery procedures are performed each year.

Different types of Breast Surgeries are done such as MammoplastyBreast Reduction SurgeryMastectomy and Breast Lift Surgery. After surgical intervention to the breast, complications may arise related to wound healingBreast Augmentation Surgery increases or restores the breast size using silicone gel implants, Fat grafting, or saline implants. These surgeries are usually done after cancer lump removal or to restore breast volume that has been lost after weight reduction pregnancy.

The reconstructive burn surgery is a procedure performed by a plastic surgeon after the initial wounds from a burn have healed. Trauma surgery is the specialization in surgery that focuses on the treatment and care of injuries, often life-threatening, that are caused by impact forces. Burns is a huge public health issue, and fire-related deaths are a main source of death among children and youth. Burn surgery plays an important role for Plastic Surgery Conference because of the on-going advancements in this field. It is characterized in two structures: intense and reconstructive. Acute burn care is given quickly after the damage. If there should be an occurrence of complex burns, inpatient and outpatient administration is given by plastic surgeons. Reconstructive Burn Surgery can't expel the burn scars however, it can enhance fundamental functions or make scars less perceptible.

A champion among the most broadly perceived conditions treated with the craniofacial medical procedure is Craniosynostosis, the early closing of the spaces between the bones of the skull, achieving odd skull improvement. Craniofacial surgery is a type of surgery that deals with skull and its related or associated structures like face, jaw, neck. It mainly involves in the treatment or manipulation of bone. Acute and chronic sequellae of facial fractures, cleft lip and palate, micrognathia, Treacher Collins Syndrome, Apert's Syndrome, Crouzon's Syndrome are some types that are treated by craniofacial surgery.

plastic surgeon creates an aesthetic, facially proportionate and functional nose by separating nasal skin and soft tissue from Osseo-cartilaginous nasal framework. In surgical procedures, open and closed Rhinoplasty techniques are used. Various types of skin flap techniques are used in the surgical procedures such as bilobed flap, mucosal flap, septal flap and Paramedian forehead flap. Rhinoplasty is usually a nose job and it is plastic surgery procedure that is done for correcting and reconstructing the nose. Otoplasty denotes the surgical and non-surgical procedures that are used for correcting the defects of the external ear, and for reconstructing a defective or absent external ear.

Hand Surgery looks to re-establish the ordinary capacity of hands and fingers harmed by injury or irregularities that were present at birth. Aesthetics is an inclusive term for specialties which focus on improving appearance of individuals via cosmetic procedures. It is not just limited to scars, wrinkles, moles, excessive fat, unwanted hair, and skin discoloration. Aesthetic procedures traditionally included reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, and dermatology. Aesthetic Medicine is term that specifies our focuses on improving cosmetic appearance by treatment for various parts of the body like scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Non-Surgical Procedures is a practice that is done by limited physical signs and minimal downtime and mostly use traditional cosmetic procedures. Aesthetic medicine included surgical procedures: liposuctionfaceliftsbreast implants, Radio frequency ablation and Non-Surgical procedures: radio frequency skin tightening, non-surgical liposuction, chemical peel. Few practitioners utilize combination of both the procedures.

Oral and external body part Surgery is that the speciality of various syndromes, diseases and defects within the face, jaws, head, neck and also the exhausting and soft tissues of the facial and oral and maxillofacial region. These incorporate a scope of normal oral surgical issues, jaw and inborn facial disproportion, facial injury, oral malignancy, salivary organ illness, temporomandibular joint disorders, and different favorable pathologies. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons work with patients of any age from infants to elderly individuals. They will be treating children who born with deformities of their skull or face including cleft lip or palate.

Our appearance is more important, as it create an impact about us to other people. The facial plastic surgery will help us to improve our outer appearance and to increase our self-esteem. Some people would like to change a certain part in their face, and some are born with abnormalities. This surgery is meant to enhance the visual appearance, structure and features. Facial plastic surgery is done to regain the structures in the head and neck- typically the nose, ears, chin, cheekbones and neckline. Or they may want to renew the signs of aging, eliminate contour irregularities or make the features of the face appear in proportion with one another. This procedure includes

Tooth regeneration is a regenerative medicine procedure based on stem cell in the field of engineering of tissue and biology of stem cell to rearrange the altered or damaged and lost teeth by stimulating the regrowth process from autologous stem cells. Somatic stem cells are collected as a source of the new bioengineered teeth and rearranged to pluripotent stem cells that can be placed directly in the dental lamina or placed in a re-absorbable biopolymer in the form of the new tooth. Investigations have been done to renew tooth enamel over couple of decades. The process has been found quite difficult unlike bone, matured enamel can’t rejuvenate. Toothpaste and mouthwash containing casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate and fluoride promotes re-mineralization of initially enamelled lesions; though, they are more of a tire patch than a real and better solution.

Skin cancer is becoming very prominent now-a-days. New researches of treatments for skin cancer are to be appeared and evolved rapidly in the recent times. Though, one surgical method has enough than stood the test of time. This surgery was developed by Dr. Frederick Mohs in the year 1930s, Mohs micrographic surgery is believed to be embraced over the past couple of decades with an increased number of surgeons for skin cancers with an ever-widening variety.

Recently, Mohs surgery has become readily accepted as the first most effective as well as beneficial technique to remove  and Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Basal Cell Carcinoma (SCCs and BCCs), both of which is most common and prevalent  skin cancers. It complements the nifty trick of incorporating the highest amount of healthy tissue which is at the same time most completely removing cancer cells; the cure rates for SCC and BCC are 98percent or higher with Mohs surgery , which is significantly better than the rates for standard  and subsidiary treatments for removing skin cancer.

Botox is a drug made from a neurotoxin obtained from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum known as botulinum toxin. It is used medically to remove wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing muscles and to cure certain muscular conditions.

How does botox work?

Botulinum toxin is known to be one of the most dangerous and poisonous substances to man. Scientists have been estimated that a one gram could kill up to one million people and a several kilos could kill every human in this world. In higher concentrations, botulinum toxin can lead to botulism, life-threatening illness which is found to be severe. Botulism, if not cured or treated, may result in death and respiratory failure. Inspite of botulinum toxin being so costly and highly toxic, Botox has a huge demand in market. It is used medically to remove wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing muscles and to cure certain muscular conditions. In order for muscles contraction, nerves signals a chemical messenger, known as acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter), where nerve endings meet muscle cells at the junction. The acetylcholine attaches to the receptors on the muscle cells and causes the muscle cells to contract or shorten. Injected botulinum toxin retards the release of acetylcholine, which prevents contraction of the muscle cells. The effect of the toxin causes a reduction in abnormal muscle contraction which allows the muscles which become less stiff.

The Dermatology and Plastic Surgery together are more worried about appearance. It incorporates a different scope of strategies, for example, mostly Dermatologic Surgery, includes Laser Surgery, Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Delicate Tissue Expansion, corrective and Reconstructive Bosom Surgery, Furthest Point Surgery, Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery, and Reconstructive Microsurgery.

Tissue expansion is a comparability simple and clear procedure that helps the body to grow extra skin for favour in reconstructing any part of the body.

A type of silicone balloon expander is placed under the skin near to the area of almost all body parts to be repaired and then periodically filled with salted water over the time, enabling the skin to stretch and grow further. It is most popularly used for breast reconstruction following removal of breast, but it's also known to repair skin that is damaged by any inherited faults or birth defects, accidents or surgery, and in certain cosmetic technique. When skin is being stretched beyond its physiological limit, mechanotransduction pathways are activated. This leads to cell nourishment, growth and also to the stimulation of new cells. Sometimes it is seemed to be achieved by the implantation of inflatable balloons beneath the skin.

Craniofacial Surgery is a noteworthy segment of Pediatric Plastic Surgery Craniofacial medical procedure is a kind of plastic medical procedure that game plans with the amendment and diversion of reshaping’s or issues of the skull. A champion among the most broadly perceived conditions treated with the craniofacial medical procedure is Craniosynostosis, the early closing of the spaces between the bones of the skull, achieving odd skull improvement. The particular medical procedure to review Craniosynostosis is known as a cranial vault updating. A plan for a craniofacial medical procedure may be set up as in front of timetable as 8 or 9 months of age, or when the issue is seen.

Cosmetic dentistry is the procedure to oral care. This will improve the appearance of teeth, mouth and will improvise your smile. The procedure used in cosmetic dentistry is quite simple when compared to others. Inlays and Onlays are the dentistry materials that are made in the dental laboratory.
